Nathalie
Nathalie the Antelope is a female antelope who lives in the African landscape.
Physical Appearance
Hence her name, Nathalie closely resembles a gazelle (a species of antelope living in the African savanna) and has a light brown coat all over her body as well as a black speed stripe and a white belly a well as two long horns. Like most female characters in the series, Nathalie has a pair of eyelashes located above her eyes.
Personality
Nathalie is basically a nimble jumper. She is also very curious and friendly towards many other animals living in the Savanna, including Molly the Hippopotamus, often showing a good conversation in talking to other animals. In addition to this, Nathalie does not like noisy animals as her neighbors, since she is very sensitive of noises as revealed in Episode 38. However, she doesn't like some types of partners (whether some are too small, big, spiky, etc.). In spite of this, Nathalie also has a fond of ballet during her free time. She also likes doing the pirouette as her favourite ballet move.

- Nathalie is based on a Thomson's gazelle
- Nathalie has long horns throughout the series, despite being female. In real life, male gazelles have long horns while females have short horns.
- Nathalie has a different voice in the US redub. She is voiced by Megg Nicol (impersonating Fran Brill or Meghan Strange).
- In the promotional image of 64 Zoo Lane, there are two antelopes that resemble Nathalie, implying that there is more than one Nathalie in it. It is unclear if the other antelope is really Nathalie or if it is an incidental gazelle.
- Nathalie is the first character to be an ungulate (a hoofed mammal such as an antelope or a deer).
- Not counting the sheep that appears the opening theme from Season 1-2, Nathalie is the first character to make her first appearance in another residence area besides the zoo. However, Nelson does not count.
