Thomas, Sharon, Lewis, and Jamie the Puffins are four puffins that live in Mossy Bay Island. They are a group of puffins who live in the island with a walrus named Hercule Mustache.

Physical Appearance

Although identical to each other, Thomas, Sharon, Lewis, and Jamie have different sizes. Each of their beaks have a pattern of purple, yellow, and red colouration. They resemble penguins, but do not have tails. Additionally, each of the four puffins have different sizes and appearances to distinguish which one is which: Thomas being the leader, Sharon being the only female in the group, Lewis being the youngest, and Jamie being the littlest of them all.

Personality

All four puffins are capable in playing football living Hercule Mustache and Gunnar on the island. They are often seen in a playful manner when they do their football routine. In spite of that, they are also capable of working together on occasions aside from playing football. Each of the four puffins has a different personality.

Thomas's personality shows him of being charge of the other three. Sharon is the bravest of the puffins who is capable of anyone in grumpy. Lewis is very helpful towards Sharon and Thomas who tries to let Jamie get his attention. Jamie is eventually the littlest and the youngest of all the puffins and sometimes has a habit of sucking his feather. Despite his diminutive size and the aforementioned habit, Jamie shows good intentions.

Trivia

• The puffins are one of the only characters from Mossy Bay Island who visit the zoo to tell Lucy a story. The other is Gunnar.
• They are based on Atlantic puffins.
• Their main enemies are Jack Big Claw and his crabs. The reason is that Jack is the leader of the territorial crabs and eventually the unbeatable champion.
• Sharon is the only female in the group. The other three (Thomas, Jamie, and Lewis) are male.
• Thomas, Sharon, and Lewis never narrated any story when meeting Lucy. Only Jamie told the story to Lucy.
• Like Puffin from "The Swan Princess", they speak in an Irish accent.
• Despite looking like Adelie penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae), they are actually puffins. One can tell that Jamie is flying, because he's a puffin and penguins don't fly.
  • Ironically in the Brazilian Portuguese dub, they were referred to as "penguins" instead of "puffins", which is likely a translation error.
• They (expect Jamie) yelled at Thelma with very harsh words, that she landed on their football match. They are not really villains, they are counted as anti-heroes.
• They are similar to the Vultures from "Disney's The Jungle Book". Both of them are birds and what to do something fun.
